Government Not To Open Educational Institutions For Two Months

Corona‘s second wave continues across the state. In view of the current situation in Corona, Chairman Corona Task Force Dr. Ata-ur-Rehman recommended the two months opening of educational institutions. The corona virus is changing its form every week, he said. Section 144 should be implemented in all situations and gatherings and processions banned.

The risk has grown and the rate of death is expected to increase. Dr Ata-ur-Rehman continued that when a new form of Corona landed in the UK, all of Europe was heading to a lockdown.

On the other hand, in his message on microblogging website Twitter, Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mehmood on the closure of educational institutions said that as Federal Minister of Education, I plan to open education institutions as soon as the Corona health situation improves. The doors of institutions will be opened.

Primary school children have suffered the most from Corona, he said. Shafqat Mahmood said that when the situation in Corona improves, children will be given priority and they will be called to educational institutions.

It may be recalled that in view of the deteriorating situation in Corona, educational institutions were announced to be closed across the country.

At its meeting of 26 November to 24 December, the Federal Ministry of Education agreed to begin internal schooling. All educational institutions in Pakistan will take online classes from 26 November. Everybody will be closed in classrooms, colleges, hospitals, schools. The winter holidays will take place between 25 December and 10 January, and children will not be allowed to attend schools. At home, the children’s schooling will continue. On January 11, if the situation improves, all the educational institutions will be reopened.
