لاہور: سابق قومی کپتان اور موجودہ کمنٹیٹر رمیز راجہ پاکستانی ٹیم کو سخت انگلش کنڈیشنز سے ڈرانے لگے جن کا کہنا ہے کہ تھوک پر پابندی کے سبب امکان ہے کہ انگلش کنڈیشنز سے واقف فاسٹ بالر محمد عباس جدوجہد کا شکار ہو سکتے ہیں کیونکہ ان کی رفتار کم ہے ۔ان کا کہنا تھا کہ دونوں فارمیٹس میں حارث رؤف زیادہ بہتر چوائس ہوسکتے ہیں البتہ خام صلاحیت کی بدولت پاکستانی پیس اٹیک انگلش ٹیم کو حیران بھی کرسکتا ہے ۔
رمیز راجہ کا کہنا تھا کہ ٹیم انتظامیہ کو انگلش کنڈیشنز میں موثر کمبی نیشن پر بھروسہ کرنا ہوگا کیونکہ ناتجربہ کار بیٹنگ لائن کے ساتھ پاکستان کیلئے حالیہ سیریز آسان ثابت نہیں ہو گی اور اندازہ یہی ہے کہ کنڈیشنز کے ساتھ انگلش بالرز پاکستانی ٹیم کیلئے کڑا چیلنج ثابت ہوں گے اگرچہ گیند چمکانے کیلئے تھوک کے استعمال پر پابندی بہت بڑا فرق بن سکتی ہے کیونکہ نئی گیند کی چمک ختم ہونے کے بعد اسے سوئنگ کرنا ممکن نہیں ہوگا لہٰذا پاکستانی کپتان کو اپنے بالرز کا پوری توجہ اور مہارت کے ساتھ استعمال کرنا ہوگا۔

رمیز راجہ نے اظہرعلی کو مشورہ دیا کہ وہ سب سے پہلے اپنی ذاتی بیٹنگ پر توجہ دیں کیونکہ ان کی قیادت بھی آسٹریلیا کے بعد اگلی سیریز میں اچھی نہیں رہی لہٰذا انہیں ساتھی کھلاڑیوں کا حوصلہ بڑھانے کیلئے خود اچھی بیٹنگ کا مظاہرہ کرنا پڑے گا۔انہوں نے انگلینڈ ٹور کیلئے پی سی بی کی پہلے روز سے واضح اور شفاف اپروچ کو سراہتے ہوئے کہا کہ سب سے خوشگوار خبر یہ ہے کہ کرکٹ کا ایک مرتبہ پھر آغاز ہونے جا رہا ہے اور کھیل کے شائقین کو ویسٹ انڈیز اور پاکستان کے انگلینڈ کیخلاف میچوں کا بھرپور لطف اٹھانے کا موقع ملے گا۔

LAHORE: Former national captain and current commentator Rameez Raja has started threatening the Pakistani team with severe English conditions, saying that due to the ban on wholesale, it is possible that fast bowler Muhammad Abbas, who is familiar with English conditions, may struggle because of his speed. He said that Harris Rauf could be a better choice in both the formats but due to his raw ability, Pakistan Peace Attack could surprise the English team.
Rameez Raja said that the team management has to rely on effective combination in English conditions as the recent series will not be easy for Pakistan with inexperienced batting line and it is estimated that English bowlers with conditions will be a tough challenge for Pakistan team. Although the ban on the use of saliva for polishing the ball can make a big difference as it will not be possible to swing the new ball once it has lost its luster, so the Pakistani captain has to use his bowlers with full attention and skill.

Rameez Raja advised Azhar Ali to focus on his personal batting first as his leadership has not been good in the next series after Australia so he will have to show good batting himself to boost the morale of his teammates. Appreciating the clear and transparent approach of the PCB for the England tour from day one, he said that the most good news is that cricket is about to start again and the fans of the game will be reminded of the matches against West Indies and Pakistan’s England.
