Hassan Ali’s Devastating Bowling, Pakistan Beat South Africa by 95 Runs | Sayfjee

Akstan defeated South Africa by 95 runs in the second Test to win the two-match series. In the match played at Pindi Stadium, they defeated South Africa thanks to the excellent bowling of Hassan Ali and Shaheen Shah Afridi.

For the first time in the history of Test cricket, Akistan defeated South Africa in a whitewash and for the second time in a Test series.

Earlier in 2003, Pakistan had beaten South Africa 1-0 in a Test series.

After the lunch break, Hassan Ali dismissed South Africa’s set batsman Markram 108 and Captain De Cock for zero.

South Africa need 108 runs to win with three wickets in hand.

South Africa started the fifth day’s play with a 127-run stand, and then lost two wickets soon after when Van der Dawson scored 48 and Dupleix 5 for Hassan Ali.

Yesterday, South Africa started chasing a difficult target of 370 runs given by Pakistan, then the opening pair of Makram and Dan Elgar scored 33 runs for the first wicket partnership.

Meanwhile, Shaheen Shah Afridi dismissed Dan Elgar for an individual score of 17 runs.

McCormick and Van Derdsson continued to bat confidently in the second wicket and did not allow any more wickets to fall till the end of the day.

By the end of the fourth day’s play, South Africa had scored 127 for one and needed 243 more runs to win.

McCormick is on 59 and Dawson is on 48.

Earlier, the national team scored 298 in its second innings thanks to a magnificent century by Vice-captain Mohammad Rizwan.

The start of the game today was disappointing for Pakistan and soon its seventh wicket fell to 159 when Hassan Ali was dismissed for 5, Maharaj made him LBW.
