لاہور(اردو پوائنٹ تازہ ترین اخبار۔21جون 2020ء ) آئی سی سی آفیشل نے بھارتی کرکٹ کو کرپشن کا گڑھ قرار دے دیا،اینٹی کرپشن یونٹ کے ایک اہم رکن سٹیو رچرڈسن کا کہنا ہے کہ زیر تفتیش 50 کیسز میں سے بیشتر کے تانے بانے بھارت سے ملتے ہیں،ان8 عادی مجرموں کے نام حکومت کو بتا سکتا ہوں جو کرکٹرز اور آفیشلز کے ساتھ مسلسل رابطے کی کوشش میں رہتے ہیں۔ قانون سازی کیے بغیر جوئے کی حوصلہ شکنی آسان نہیں، بی سی سی آئی کے اینٹی کرپشن یونٹ کے سربراہ اجیت سنگھ نے بھی چشم کشا حقائق سے پردہ اٹھاتے ہوئے کہاکہ 30 سے 40 ہزار کروڑ روپے کا جوا ہوتا ہے، کھلاڑی، معاون سٹاف، آفیشلز اور فرنچائز مالکان سب بکیز کے نشانے پر ہوتے ہیں۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق ایک ویڈیو سیشن میں گفتگو کرتے ہوئے آئی سی سی اینٹی کرپشن یونٹ کے کوآرڈینیٹر آف انویسٹی گیشن اسٹیو رچرڈسن نے کہاکہ اگرچہ حال ہی میں کوئی ہائی پروفائل بھارتی کرکٹر ریڈار میں نہیں آیا مگر نچلی سطح پر بکیز اور کھلاڑی مسلسل سرگرم ہیں، براہ راست نشر ہونے والی چھوٹی ڈومیسٹک لیگز کو مذموم مقاصد کے لیے استعمال کیا جا رہا ہے، کھلاڑی تو اس سلسلے کی آخری کڑی ہیں، کرپشن کے پیچھے منظم گروہ باہر بیٹھ کر ڈوریاں ہلاتا ہے۔

اس وقت 50 کیس زیر تفتیش ہیں،ان میں سے بیشتر کے تانے بانے بھارت سے ہی ملتے ہیں، حکومت کو ایسے 8 افراد کے نام بتا سکتا ہوں جو عادی مجرم اور کھلاڑیوں کے ساتھ مسلسل رابطے کی کوشش میں رہتے ہیں، انھوں نے کہا کہ کورونا وائرس کے سبب کھیلوں کی سرگرمیاں معطل اور مالی مشکلات کا شکار کھلاڑی بکیز کے نرغے میں آسانی سے آ سکتے ہیں۔ جوئے کے خلاف قانون سازی کیے بغیر کرپشن کی حوصلہ شکنی آسان نہیں۔
پی سی سی آئی اینٹی کرپشن یونٹ کے سربراہ اجیت سنگھ نے کہا کہ قانونی پیچیدگیوں کی وجہ سے اداروں کو کرپٹ عناصر کیخلاف بھرپور کارروائی کا موقع نہیں ملتا، کرناٹکا لیگ کا معاملہ ایک مثال ہے،سٹے بازی کی ویب سائٹس فساد کی جڑ ہیں، ایک اندازے کے مطابق بھارت میں کھیلوں پر30 سے 40 ہزار کروڑ تک کا جوا ہوتا ہے، کھلاڑی، معاون اسٹاف، آفیشلز اور فرنچائز مالکان سب بکیز کے نشانے پر ہوتے ہیں۔

LAHORE: ICC officials have termed Indian cricket as a hotbed of corruption, with Steve Richardson, a key member of the anti-corruption unit, saying that most of the 50 cases under investigation are fabricated by India. I can tell the government the names of 8 habitual criminals who are constantly trying to keep in touch with cricketers and officials. It is not easy to discourage gambling without enacting legislation. Ajit Singh, head of BCCI’s anti-corruption unit, also covered up the glaring facts and said that gambling is worth Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000 crore. And franchise owners are the target of all bookies.
Speaking in a video session, ICC Anti-Corruption Unit Coordinator of Investigation Steve Richardson said that although no high profile Indian cricketers have recently appeared on the radar, the bookies and players at the grassroots level are constantly active. The live broadcasts of small domestic leagues are being used for nefarious purposes, the players are the last link in the chain, the organized group behind corruption is sitting outside and shaking the ropes.

“Currently, 50 cases are under investigation. Most of them come from India. I can tell the government the names of eight people who are in constant touch with habitual criminals and players,” he said. Sports activities are suspended due to the corona virus and athletes with financial difficulties can easily fall into the trap of bookies. It is not easy to discourage corruption without legislating against gambling.
Ajit Singh, head of the PCCI Anti-Corruption Unit, said that due to legal complications, institutions do not get a chance to take full action against corrupt elements. The Karnataka League case is an example. It is estimated that between Rs 30,000 crore and Rs 40,000 crore is spent on sports in India.
