Google I/O 2022, Google’s annual developer conference, is expected to begin today. The conference is mainly for developers seeking to network, but the rest of us are interested in seeing if Google will make any major announcements or upgrades.
We don’t know for sure what will be announced this year, but we have a few ideas. A new Pixel Watch and a midrange Pixel 6A, with a new processor and camera sensor, as well as big enhancements for Android 13, whose beta became available to Pixel owners in April, are among the possibilities.
WHAT TIME DOES GOOGLE I/O START?
The main keynote at Google I/O will be aired live today, Wednesday, May 11th, at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET. If you think you’ll miss it, don’t worry: the keynote is usually available on the Google I/O YouTube channel following the event.
You can add the event to your Google calendar, Outlook calendar, or Apple calendar from the website’s homepage (lol).
WHERE CAN I WATCH GOOGLE I/O 2022?
Google’s YouTube channel and Google I/website O’s both have live streams of the keynote. We’ll also embed the feed above so you can watch it live and later.
Other activities following the keynote will be streamed live on the Google I/O website. On day one, there will be product introductions and keynotes, and on day two, technical workshops including how-to sessions will be available on demand.
